Brad Frey serves as Project Controls Manager for Acendion Collective, with a primary focus on operational finance across the multifamily portfolio. With nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, Brad brings a well-rounded background shaped by roles as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Superintendent, Cost Analyst, Senior Cost Analyst, and Estimating Lead. He provides centralized oversight of development budgets, soft costs, financing carry, cash flow forecasting, and cost-to-complete reporting, helping ensure financial discipline as the platform scales. He is also responsible for shaping company standards across all aspects of operations, including reporting, forecasting, change management, scheduling, and engineering.

Brad graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering. He works closely with design, development, construction, and capital partners to improve visibility into project performance, strengthen financial decision-making, and identify risks that could affect project budgets, schedule, funding, or returns.
